Below are the steps for submitting pictures and video to Raid ID Help. Remember that all posts are anonymous, and we do not capture or share any user data.

Photo Submissions

  • Allowed Formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, or WEBP
  • Max File Size: 5MB per photo
  • Batch Upload: You can upload a single photo or multiple photos as separate files in one submission.
  • Tip: Compress your photos to keep them under the 5MB limit. Also strip your photos of any meta data, if you wish to maintain anonymity from anyone that may download the media and inspect it.

Video Submissions

  • Direct Upload: Maximum file size of 5MB per video attachment.
  • Preferred Method: Upload your video to YouTube first and then provide the embed link in our submission form. This helps us minimize storage and bandwidth costs, keeping the site accessible to everyone and keeping our costs of operation as low as possible. The more media we have to store on our own hosting, the more expensive operation gets and we want to keep those costs down so we can remain online.

Required Title & Tags

When submitting, please ensure your post title follows this format:

  1. City, State, Date, Approximate Time (of the arrest or event captured)

Additionally, fill out the selections for the city, state, and date on the form to confirm these details and to make it easier for others to locate relevant posts.

Important: If your title does not follow the City, State, Date, Time format, your post will not be approved. Because submissions are anonymous, we cannot correct your post details or contact you for clarification.

Moderation Review

All posts are subject to a 24–48 hour review period before going live. This helps our small moderation team screen out spam, harassment, and disinformation. We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain a respectful, reliable community resource.
